Towers Watsons and the ERC partnered on a recent study to understand the overall trend on Talent Mobility, and the approaches. Overall, almost all companies are expecting the number of international transfers to increase! In particular the transfer place that everyone is focused on is Asia. So if you are concerned about the lack of local hires in the region, and concerned you are relying too much on expat assignments – it is still prudent to be worried – but you are not behind the curve.
